FUNDRAISER INFORMATION

 
  1. Handmade at our farm, from 100% soy wax, our candles burn cooler, cleaner, and longer than petroleum candles.  The unique characteristics of soy makes the appearance of each individual candle special.  These high quality candles come in many fragrances.
  2. Your fundraiser will include 27 fragrances and the possibility of a custom candle for your organization.  This gives customers a wonderful variety from which to choose.  Each of the candles comes in a 9 oz. jar and burns approximately 50 hours. 
  3. Your candles will have tags attached to them explaining the benefits of soy candles.  The front of these tags may be customized with your own logo and message.
  4. When you book a fundraiser, we will mail order forms to you, customized for your organization.  We also have sample vials of each fragrance.  These sets should be returned at the end of the fundraiser.  There is a charge of $7 per set not returned.
  5. A master order form and a summary sheet will be included.  At the end of the fundraiser, the summary sheet should be filled out and faxed to Country Lights at 815 495-2014. If you prefer the master order can be submitted electronically on an Excel spreadsheet.
  6. We suggest you sell the candles for $9.  Your organization keeps the sales minus $4.50/candle & shipping.  Every attempt will be made to keep shipping costs to a minimum. There are reduced/free shipping costs on large orders.
  7. For every eighteen candles sold by an individual, he or she earns one free candle for himself or herself.
  8. Participants are asked to collect all money due at the time the orders are placed.  Personal checks are to be made out to the organization.  At the end of the fundraiser, a check for the entire amount due is to be made out to Country Lights Soy Candles. 
  9. If your organization chooses to buy a quantity of candles upfront to sell at an event or for demonstration, please send one half of the payment before the candles are shipped.  The remainder of the payment is due within 30 days.
  10. Most fundraisers last 2-3 weeks.  Once all orders are placed, please allow 2 weeks for delivery.  
  11. If your organization is tax exempt, please provide Country Lights with the proper documentation.
